Curriculum Objectives
The two-year, full-time MBA programme comprises foundational, functional, integrative and elective courses, along with extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The programme is designed to:
- Provide a strong foundation to the students on fundamentals of management.
- Enrich their knowledge on functional areas of management.
- Enhance the ability of students to understand the importance of an organisational perspective of different functional areas through integrative and capstone courses.
- Facilitate students to focus and specialise in their area of professional interest and career aspiration through elective courses.
- Inculcate entrepreneurship through entrepreneurship development course, E-Talk Series and Fiesta Activity.
- Provide exposure to current and contemporary industry practices through internship and project work.
- Assist students to gain leadership skills through intense programmes on Personality Development and Career Counselling.
- Facilitate students to explore and realise their capabilities through a rigorous Out-bound programme.
The syllabus for each course is designed and structured in such a way as to meet the overall curriculum objectives, leading to alignment with the programme objectives and institutional vision and mission.

- Business Speaker Series by Mr.Murali Krishnan, HR Business Partner, Ford Business Services Center,Coimbatorewas organized on 10th January 2018.
- Business Speaker Series by Mr.Balaji Raju, Managing Director, AES Technologies India Pvt Ltd , Coimbatore was organized on 7th February 2018
- Value added program on “Behavioral techniques on Currency and Commodity Segment” was organized on 8th and 9th February 2018 by Capital Mart Academy for I MBA students
- Value added program on “Digital marketing and Human resource Payroll Professional” was organized on 8th and 9th February 2018 by Dazzle Academy for II MBA Students.
OUTBOUND TRAINING PROGRAMMES:
Second Intervention Outbound Training programme was given to the students of firstyear MBA on18th March 2018 at PRR Training Center, Coimbatore to develop team building and leadership skills. The event was conducted by Breakthrough, Bangalore.

ALUMNI MEET:
- An alumni meet was organized by MBA Department on 21st April 2018.
INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERFACE:
An International trip and Industrial visit was organized for our I MBA Students to Malaysia for five Days in the month of February 2018.


One day Workshop on “Implementation of Tools in SPSS” was organized for MBA Students by Mr.Shivaprakash, Portfolio Manager, Asyle Capitals, Coimbatore on 26th March 2018
PLACEMENT AND TRAINING
- Ten Day Placement Training was organized for MBA students by WISDOM HR Consultancy and Development in the month of January 2018.
- Prathiba was placed in OBOE finishing School, Coimbatore, as A Admin HR Executive.
- Raghupathy was placed as Brand Executive in Wild Tiger, Thrishur, Kerala.
INTRA COLLEGIATE EVENT”ZEPHYR 2018”
MBA DepartmentOrganized and conducted an Intra Collegiate competitions from 16th march 2018 to 18th march 2018.Various events such as creating an ADZAP ,Photography, Wealth out of Waste, Paper presentation, Quiz and Treasure hunt ,Business Leader were organized

INTER COLLEGIATE EVENT:
Professor A.V.R.Akshaya, and Associate ProfessorG.Sivakumar, of Sri Ramakrishna Business School organized a Career Guidance program "Cross Roads 2K18" on 7th March 2018, for Under Graduate students.Around 650 students from various colleges in and around Coimbatore attended the program.
The program was inaugurated by Dr.K.Karunakaran, Principal, SRCAS and Dr.V.Latha,Dean,School of Management welcomed the gathering followed by three sessions.




The first session was addressed by Cdr.D.Senthilkumar, Senior Education Officer, Indian Naval, The second session was handled by Dr.R.Prabhu, professor, Govt Arts college, Coimbatore and the third session by CA.M .Baskar FCA, President, the Auditors association of southern India.
Allthe speaker's enlightened the opportunity available for Undergraduate students, after completing their Under Graduate programme.The session was concluded by N.AMSAVENI, Associate Professor, SRBS.

- Attended a one day Workshop on “Emerging Trends on Retailing” at Asia Pacific University, Malaysia.
