Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science (Formerly SNR Sons College) is a renowned co-educational Arts & Science college which carries excellence as its tradition. The College is situated at the heart of the city, Coimbatore. It has a beautiful campus sprawling over an area of 15.9 acres with excellent infrastructure. The college was started in the year 1987. It is affiliated to Bharathiar University. The institution was the first in Coimbatore to be awarded autonomous status by the UGC, and enjoys autonomous status since 2004.The UGC recently extended the autonomy status up to 2031-2032. The Institution is recognized by AICTE and acknowledged as a DBT Star College. The College holds 56th rank in NIRF and in the national level ranking of the leading magazines, it is placed in the list of top 50 colleges. Additionally, the institution is included under 2(f) and 12(B) sections of the UGC Act, further solidifying its status as a premier educational establishment.

The college excels in higher education in India, prioritizing both academic excellence and holistic student development. It offers a wide range of programmes: 30 undergraduate, 10 postgraduate, and 10 research programmes across Arts and Science, Management Sciences, International Studies, Information Technology, and Biotechnology. The curriculum emphasizes global competency through innovative teaching methods, employability skills, and social responsibility.
