The Internal Complaints Committee

The Internal Complaints Committee has been formed at Sri Ramakrishna  Arts and Science College (Autonomous), to address the issues under Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions Regulations, 2015. The committee is formed to provide protection against sexual harassment of female employees and students in the Campus and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Objectives

The objectives of the Internal Complaints Committee of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science are

  • To deal with issues of “Gender Based Violence”
  • To conduct “Gender Sensitization Programme”

Awareness Session on the Role and Function of ICC

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of SRCAS conducted an Awareness Session on the Role & Functions of ICC on 7th July 2023, providing students with valuable insights into the committee’s roles and responsibilities. Topics discussed included how to reach the police akka for assistance, the importance of the Kavalan app, safety tips for women while traveling, essential contact numbers, awareness about online job scams, and social media app safety. The session was highly informative and beneficial for all participants.
