The Internal Complaints Committee

The Internal Complaints Committee has been formed at Sri Ramakrishna  Arts and Science College (Autonomous), to address the issues under Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions Regulations, 2015. The committee is formed to provide protection against sexual harassment of female employees and students in the Campus and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Objectives

The objectives of the Internal Complaints Committee of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science are

  • To deal with issues of “Gender Based Violence”
  • To conduct “Gender Sensitization Programme”

Programme Organized

The Internal Complaints Committee of the college has organized awareness programme for the students of Sri Ramakrishna Matriculation School, Coimbatore on 05.02.2018. This Programme focused to differentiate Good Touch and Bad Touch of persons. Nearly 150 girl students were benefited from this programme.

The Women Empowerment Cell, Internal Complaints Committee jointly with National Service Scheme of our college has organized a Rally on the theme Child Abuse from Womens’ Polytechnic to VOC park, Coimbatore on 07.03.2018. More than 500 students were participated to create awareness to stop child abuse.

The Internal Complaints Committee of the college has organized an Orientation Programme for the New Entrants of the College on 24.07.2018. This Programme was conducted to create awareness about the following matters

 

  • Constitution of Internal Complaints Committee for the year 2018-19
  • Introduction of Committee members
  • Objectives and functions of the committee
  • Complaints Mechanism and Redressal procedure

 

Nearly 1200 students are benefited from this programme.

The Internal Complaints Committee of the college has organized an orientation programme for the faculty members on 11.07.2018. This Programme was conducted to create awareness about the following matters

  • Constitution of Internal Complaints Committee for the year 2018-19
  • Introduction of Committee members
  • Objectives and functions of the committee
  • Role and Responsibilities of Employer
  • Complaints Mechanism

Nearly 165 faculty members are benefited from this programme.
