About the Department


The Department of BCA Artificial Intelligence was established in 2026 in collaboration with Aigenthix Technologies Private Limited, Bengaluru. The programme combines academic excellence with industry-driven learning through specialized courses, hands-on training and Generative AI certification. Designed to bridge the gap between education and industry, the department equips students with cutting-edge AI skills and practical expertise, preparing them to excel as future-ready professionals in the global technology landscape

MISSION


To provide industry-relevant knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, develop practical skills through hands-on learning, projects and internships, promote innovation, research, problem-solving abilities, build ethical values, teamwork and lifelong learning skills to prepare students for successful careers and societal contribution.


PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  • Prepare for employability, entrepreneurship or to pursue higher education and research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and emerging intelligent technologies.
  • Build a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics and Data Science fundamentals required to innovate, formulate, analyse and develop intelligent systems and AI-based applications.
  • Inculcate professionalism by emphasizing moral and ethical behaviour, developing team spirit and effective communication skills along with lifelong learning skills in the domain of Artificial Intelligence and computing technologies.

  • Apply the knowledge of computing and interdisciplinary fundamentals to the solution of complex problems and to succeed in the highly competitive and rapidly changing work environment.
